Red Hat Certifications have gained much popularity of late because and more and organizations are looking for certified Linux professionals rather than linux professionals without any certifications. Authorized Red Hat Training
All Red Hat certifications require a mandatory training from either Red Hat or any of its Certified Training Partner. While the faculty in all authorized Red Hat training centers are trained and certified by Red Hat and they follow a common protocol in delivering the training, one need to look for the other aspects, while choosing the right institute:
• History of the Institute: Do a survey about the training institutes past history and the faculties. Check if they are having any consulting experience in Linux deployments, migration projects and other related project executions. Do ask your friends and relatives, but don’t solely depend on their advice.
• Industry Interface: Make sure that the institute deploys trainers who have reasonable experience in the industry. Some of the institutes engage themselves in consulting activities in their areas of expertise. Their trainers will have hands on experience in solving the real time issues.
• Demo Classes: The best way to choose a training institute is by evaluating the standard of teaching. Visit institutes, which offer demo classes. Sit in these classes and see if you are satisfied with what is taught and how it is taught. Select the training institute, which you find most comfortable.
• Lab Support: All Red Hat programs require extensive practice and the exams are practical tests require one to solve the real time issues. So it is highly recommended that one should enquire about the kind of lab support the institute is providing.
• Training Fee: Fee is an important consideration, but it should not be your most important priority. Do not try to pinch pennies lest you end up compromising on the quality of education. If you find a couple of institutes, which are of equally high standards, you can choose the one, which charges lower fees. Whereas, if the choice is between fees and quality of education, the choice is straight forward – quality should be your preference.
• Placement Assistance: Students who want to pursue Red Hat training are most likely to seek a job after completing the program. One can find innumerable training institutes in cities like Hyderabad, who claim to provide 100% job guarantee after the course completion. Beware of such institutes and do a survey, if they really provide any placement assistance. Checking with your friends, who are already trained from that institute, would be a good idea.
